I received my PhD in Fine Arts from Texas Tech in 2018, having studied there with Dr. William Westney, performing recitals, accompanying instrumentalists and vocalists, teaching group classes and private lessons, as well as serving as pianist at multiple churches. Though I went on to pursue other studies, music has remained both a leading player in my life and the field in which I have the most raw talent and experience. Since then I have performed in several groups and as a solo act. I played fiddle for the Galveston based folk band "The Grog".
