I will study where you are at, whether it be beginner, advanced or anywhere in between and then I will help you develop your skill set further. One of the most important aspects of learning an instrument is practices on your own. Once you learn the lesson of the session, you will be able to take that home and memorize it for the next session. This way you will be getting the most out of each session, learning something new every time. Read More

For beginners, I start with the basics - proper posture and hand position, introduction to the keyboard and note recognition. In my experience, the Faber series is the most widely followed to get students started on their musical journey. As students progress, I ensure that they develop a repertoire that consists of at least 3 songs. I emphasize the importance of technical exercises that begin with 5 finger scales and advance to proper octave scales. Read More

Since I took my first piano lessons as a child, I've dedicated my life to learning as much as I can about music both inside and outside of school and spreading the joy to others. I have been performing consistently with groups since my teen years: first jazz combos, ensembles and University orchestras, and more recently rock and metal acts. I have extensive experience touring, and encourage students to draw on my knowledge as both a studio and live performer. Read More

I taught students at any place they were convenient with: sometimes at my studio, sometimes at their homes. I loved teaching when I first started. I am mostly focused on classical music, but teaching students helped me understand many more genres of music. Read More

I teach breath support, vocal range expansion, resonance, tone placement, posture, proper diction, sight reading notes, ear training, releasing tension and stage performance. I can help my students improve technique for any genres of music they want with a focus on building a solid and healthy technique. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Alfred’s piano book library Essential Elements. I recommend Alfred’s Prep course for age of 5 to 6 years old. Read More

My professional experience includes teaching Piano to dozens of students of all levels and ages, teaching skills that range from basic scales to classical sonatas to modern jazz, teaching students to read sheet music, playing by ear. I also have experience teaching Music appreciation classes, Music Theory, and Ensemble. Read More
