I taught a few very young students whose moms wanted them to try out the instrument and learn some fundamentals, and I taught a few older students who just wanted to know how to play some of their favorite songs. For all ages and all instruments, you will be working on scales, chord progressions, transposition and reading of music for piano; scales, lip slurs, technical etudes, long tones, transposition and reading of music for trumpet; and scales, slurs, technical studies, transposition and reading of music for flute. For all instruments, there will be one key book that will cover everything you need to know.
