For young beginners, I prefer to use Alfred, piano adventure and Bastien method book. I also use piano tree to teach young kids as well. Once my students finish the fundamental study I will begin to introduce classical pieces and all other genres as well. I started playing when I was 7 and just really haven't stopped. I have always enjoyed playing the piano and also teaching the piano. As a performer I have played in a wide variety of styles and ensembles from giving Solo Recitals to Rock Bands, and playing in Big Bands to Musical Theater Orchestras. I am a performing violinist, however I am most passionate about teaching and also playing chamber music. I began my musical studies playing the piano at age 7 and the violin at age 9. As a youth, I served as concertmaster of the South Bay Youth Symphony, Azusa Pacific Symphony Orchestra and Texas Christian University Symphony Orchestra. With the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, I participated in two European tours and had the honor of performing at Cite de la Musique in Paris, the Dvorak Hall in Prague, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig and Amsterdam's Concertgebouw.
