I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. I take great pride in being able to teach on an individual basis, meaning I teach according to what the student needs and wants to be taught. Read More

I always start with applicable musical theory to help the student understand the basics of piano and what are the proper techniques to play the instrument. The same applies to voice lessons. After a student is able to read music on the basic level and knows the placement of notes on the scale, we proceed to the basic repertoire and practice. Each student is individual, so based on the pace I create a schedule, which always includes implementing the learnt material more and more, so that student can perform basics automatically correct. I have been teaching voice and piano lessons at my studio and students' places for more than five years. I also have experience teaching at music schools and public schools. I encourage regular practice on a consistent schedule, which is important for developing musical skills, especially for beginning students. I teach vocal technique which applies to any genre, and music theory and performance (especially for jazz and pop singing), as well as beginning piano. Read More

I use the method created by Adolf Herseth (Principle trumpeter in the Chicago Symphony for 50 years). I learned this method from William Fielder at Rutgers. This concept is based on using air as the primary energy source for producing sound. We will work on strengthening the breathing apparatus to be able to produce a pure clear tone that is without distortion. From there we work on being able to keep that same sound thought the full range of the instrument. Read More

I got a 5 on the AP Music Theory exam, and have an overview of theoretical and performance education in contemporary, classical, and jazz idioms. I have taught private hour long piano lessons one-on-one with young children and adults, and taught music theory in group classes as well as privately, through the Shalala MusicReach Program at the University of Miami. Some other tidbits about me are that I have Perfect Pitch, which means that I can quickly learn and notate music for you that you want to learn, and that I am also proficient in music production and notation software if you need help or want to record anything Read More

Each student is so unique, so I tailor my curriculum to fit their goals. However, I ensure that each student walks away with ownership over the fundamentals of singing technique, so that they can grow on their own. We begin with a strong foundation and breathing technique, then weave in supported singing. With emphasis on breathing, we liberate the sound and expand the range. Then, we work to find resonance and beauty in the sound, so that the student may sing whatever style they choose! Read More

Since every student has different goals I like to plan my lessons accordingly. I found it very useful to devide the lesson into 3 parts : Technique, reading and drumset studies. Whether the student is excited about rock, pop, jazz, hiphop or samba, this method creates a solid foundation for the drummer's ultimate goal - to groove on the drumset! To make the lesson even more fun and interactive, I love to work on playing along with recordings which give the student the feel of playing with his favorite band! Read More
