I make journal entries at every lesson to record what was covered. I can help my students improve technique for any genres of music they want with a focus on building a solid and healthy technique. I combine working on technique,correct hands position, improving your sight reading skills, music theory, and repertoire. I always recommend to include working on Studies/Etudes to find out week arias of your technique and find a perfect way to improve it in a smart a fun way. The goal is to supply students with the tools and the knowledge to be successful and also to facilitate an environment of growth. As we progress through lessons, I will challenge students with weekly and even monthly goals. I've realized every student has a different way of learning, and the methods will cater to the individual. For instance, students who learned mostly by ear can learn about theory. I love to build a curriculum that is specific to each student's needs. I.e. I like to work with students and help them reach the goals that they have set for themselves.
