My teaching experience started 5 years ago. I was a senior in high school and was teaching a beginning student the trombone. Throughout the past 5 years I have continued to teach students when I was able to. I encourage regular practice and maintaining a consistent schedule. I always say 10 minutes a day is better then 30 minutes every 3 days. For younger students a combination or aural learning and written learning are great ways to help them engage and keep an interest. Read More

Seems I've always been a teacher, even when I didn't realize it; from my school days as first chair helping other students, through college where I taught for the Southern Nevada School of Music and at Vesleys Music Conservatory, through the time I received my first certified public school teaching position and after that as a business owner with employees, I have been teaching and learning. Currently I teach Instrumental, Vocal music and Speech/Drama in Oklahoma as a certified classroom teacher. Read More

My teaching experience started while I was in college, as I began teaching drumline in 2011, and I have been consistently teaching a variety of drumlines and individual students ever since. I encourage students to practice on a consistent basis that way with each lesson the student is progressing. Education and feel are the two most important aspects of music I like to install in my students. As students will learn the classical aspects of reading music and getting a classical and modern approach to playing. Read More

Instruments: Guitar
The lesson material is completely dependent on the student. I believe the most important things for someone to learn are keys, chords, scales, intervals and improvisation. For students are just beginning the first step is to learn the notes on the neck of the guitar. The next step is to begin learning intervals that way the student is able to build chords on the neck. From there is goes on to chords then scales and then keys. Read More
