I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy and have been teaching ever since. I am an active member of the Richardson Music Teachers Association, which affords many musical opportunities for my students. If you don't know how to read music we can focus part of the lesson on music theory and the rest on learning from recordings and playing by ear. This is why I use a well-developed system of technical exercises that are easy to understand and implement that allows the student to quickly gain mastery of the instrument. These techniques were thoroughly developed and taught by my mentor, Dr. Jill Sprenger, and I have seen students of all types succeed with them.
