Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students develop a passion for learning Drum Set. It is important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I acknowledge accomplishments that helps fuel a students desire to progress. Also I want them to be eager to learn. In my teaching experiences I like to teach basics but also make it fun for the students. If they wish to learn a song that they like I will do this during the end course of my lesson. Read More

I began teaching students while still in high school. I continued teaching students in college with the University of Texas String Project. Upon graduation, I taught programs in both public and private schools, while developing a studio of private students at our home. I have taught private students for most of the past 35 years, teaching all ages from 6 yrs. and up, beginning to advanced. All the left and right-hand skills will be put into the interpretation of music, this is the last step for students who playing cello. Read More

Singing lessons should always be fun and positive. A student should come out of a voice lesson with new knowledge that they can then go and apply during their practice at home. I am a firm believer that most of the learning is done outside the lesson through the student's application of what he/she learned during the lesson. My belief is that I am a guide to the student, but the student must meet me halfway, so that we can learn from each other, work together, and find what works best for the student's voice. Read More

I am incredibly fulfilled by witnessing growth in my students, and love the "Ah-HA!" moments. I feel that music is the ultimate form of expression, and I try to make my foundation as limitless as possible. Growth is the main goal for me and my students.
