Instruments: Piano Drums

For piano I use a combination of the Bastien books, if you are a beginner. For more intermediate or advanced I use whatever music the student is interested in. It could be the Great American Songbook or classical music. For percussion, for beginners I use the Garwood Whaley book, Fundamentals for the Snare Drum. For drum set I use the Syncopation Book by Ted Reed and a variety of other books depending on the need. Read More

Music has been my passion my whole life. I love to be able to share my gift with other musicians onstage and my experiences with my students. I am a drummer and producer from Paris (France) and I just moved here. After years touring in Europe and Africa, playing TV shows and doing drum clinics alongside some of the best drummers (Aaron Spears, Brian Frasier Moore, Damien Schmitt..) I was encouraged to have a strong practice routine on a consistent schedule so I try and instill the same practice in both my vocal and keyboard students. In my methods of teaching I typically like to focus on what the students want to get better at while also incorporating fundamentals and good habits. I feel that this gives the student the ability to choose what they want to do as well as my chance to show them the right way to learn it and create good habits while playing the instruments. I teach children and adults from beginner to intermediate and advance. I work with a roster of 45 students per class. I can commit to teaching a schedule for a minimum of a year or longer. My work extends beyond the stage, as I've had the privilege of recording and composing for acclaimed series like HBO's "Hacks" and Netflix's "Insiders." Collaborating with industry veterans such as Rob Lewis, known for his work with artists like Christina Aguilera, Fifth Harmony, and the Backstreet Boys, has been an inspiring part of my journey. Additionally, I've had the incredible opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra, presenting my composition "Espirales" and my piece "Murmullos," both of which received awards and were showcased at the prestigious Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, thanks to the support of the Fundacin Sax Ensemble.
