I consider myself mainly a jazz/cabaret singer, but I sing in many styles and genres. I also write my own music. I am working on my third album. I am very proud to say that my music has been played on radio stations throughout the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia, and Russia, and worldwide through the Siriusly Sinatra channel on SiriusXM radio. My passion for singing dates back to when I was a child, singing in choirs and performing in churches. In 2011, I graduated from the Greatbach School of Music at Houghton College, earning a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance with honors. I have been blessed to perform in several regional theatre productions, as well as two off-Broadway shows. I have brought my love of coaching and teaching to these productions. While I generally begin with the Rubank Method and move onto a more personalized approach after 7th or 8th grade, I am always focused on providing the individual student with the best guidance possible. I like to encourage solo performance for friends and family early on to achieve performance experience and mitigate nervousness.
