For beginning students I try to go slow and make sure that they get the fundamentals and essentials down. My beliefs are that learning each stage well will help expedite the process of learning and playing later in life. At some point shortly after the fundamentals we will begin on solo literature and possibly duet literature. I began taking piano lessons under the tutelage of two professors at the age of five. I continued these lessons until I turned 24. At 16 I began to work professionally as a musician. I have always loved music and play most every day. I feel that God gives us all gifts and music is one of them.
