Reading music and trying to hold the instrument correctly, having bow control, and paying attention to tone can be overwhelming. The first few lessons will be book free. My teaching experience began in high school, when I worked with the summer band programs of several local middle schools and gave incoming beginning band students a head start on learning the basics of brass instruments. I continued teaching similar programs in college, including middle and high school summer band programs that included sectionals, chamber ensembles, and small music theory classes.
