I am classically trained, and studied classical piano as well as Jazz in college and beyond. I enjoy learning and teaching all types of music, including composition and improvisation. As a drummer that has played in all kinds of styles and venues, I can teach any skill level from the first time picking up sticks to making good drummers great and great drummers legendary. I have been studying all aspects of flute culture since I discovered my father's old flute in a box when I was 7. I fell in love the first time I heard him play, and knew then that I would grow up to study music and perform. I began formal instruction in school at the age of 10, and quickly earned the top place in my beginners class. Therefore, I can provide anatomical details about the vocal mechanism to help you understand singing in a deeper level.
