I have had a strong passion for music for as long as I can remember. It brings me great joy to share and teach my passion with other aspiring musicians. I recently graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a Master of Music in Jazz Studies degree. I have been very fortunate to tour with the band, ILL Doots, multiple times in addition to performing in various settings that constantly push my musical boundaries whether I'm playing drums, vibes, piano, or auxilliary percussion.

My goal is to always tailor my lessons to each individual student's goals and needs. For younger children or beginners, this usually includes basic music counting lessons along with the breathing exercises and rhythmic/vocal work that usually comes with voice lessons. I try to use exercises and techniques that have been helpful to me and others in the past, and support the ideas and focus of each lesson. I always believe learning should be fun and engaging, especially for art - so I make sure to include games and play. I want students to feel relaxed and explore their own musicianship with my guidance. No student learns the same way, or at the same speed, but the journey is the best part.

I am a devoted and yearning music lover through and through! My parents brought me up that way as Broadway singers and dancers when I was born in Manhattan and it eventually spiraled me into a passion for performing, teaching and especially, listening to everything I could get my hands (and ears) on. I’ve been playing stringed instruments predominantly since I was 10 years old and went on to study Music Education at Kutztown University, where I played with the KU Orchestra and acted as principle chair for the 2nd violin section. I am now living in Philadelphia pursuing a teaching career and keeping busy by performing with many friends and peers in my community.
