There is nothing more satisfying than to see my students achieve their goals and develop an increasing love for music.Some students learn extremely fast, and some may learn at a slower pace than others.I am indeed a very patient and understanding instructor.People may have certain obstacles that may stand in their way of learning.That is the reason why I make myself available to talk to anyone with questions or certain concerns they may want to discuss.As time progress and I start to see their talent developing I often invite them to come to my live performances and sit in with the band.This helps to develop their craft and hopefully increase their self esteem and perseverance.Playing for your first audience can be a little scary, but once you've gotten through that initial performance, is undoubtedly a great achievement. Goals and ambitions are set at the beginning of taking lessons and as we progress in learning, After a certain amount of lessons, I'll do a review lesson to see what the student has retained, what we need to focus on, and assess skill level to that point. Practice is important, but smart practice is essential. I help the student to practice efficiently without wasting time or energy. Smart practice also means to get results and achieve goals quickly. Technique is tremendously important in order to execute the music. Classical music is the fundamental and first step a student needs to take in order to learn and perform music properly. If his/her interest is popular music or jazz, I aim to give the student a classical assignment as well as an assignment in these genres. Read More

Once they have progressed and picked up the fundamentals from these lessons I like to move on to Hal Leonard's Giant Book of Children's Vocal Solos.
