Voice- Depending on how long the lesson is we work on vocal warmups then work on a song. In a 30 min lesson we do vocal warmups for 10 minutes then work on a song fir 20 minutes.Learning the proper vocal technique. I began teaching my neighbor's kids when I was 12 years old. I taught until I was sixteen, which is when I began -playing club dates and weddings. I taught mostly classical, polkas, and european songs. I became a better musician when I played professionally, I had to amass my own 'fake book' and write some of my own music. I am 74 years young, have been married for 42 years, have six children, two birth and four adopted from Ethiopia, live near Parker on a 5-acre property with 4 horses, several dogs and a husband. I am healthy, flexible and friendly. I play with a flutist at several assisted living facilities. We play the oldies, a couple of classical pieces, a march, a polka and seasonal music that the residents recognize (at least they recognize most of the songs). Read More
