Nothing is more important than seeing all my students sing as well as they can. All my stuedents progress at there own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for all my students at each lesson. I create a positive atmosphere and relaxing one . I alway acknowledge how well my students do at there lesson . I try to find out what inspires my students and what they would like to sing and then from there i find the best pieces for them to sing. Read More

My teacing style is what I would call organized relaxed. I create specific goals for each student that are attainable. I continually work to encourage my students to work towards their goals. Each student is different. My teaching style depends on the need of the student. However, generally, I will start with technical exercises to help the student work on a particular skill that can be used in a variety of songs (ex. tone production, vowels, diction). I earned valuable skills while touring and teaching and found a niche while working with kids of which helped create my specialized children's teaching curriculum. Whether it's teaching children or adults, beginning classes start with basic snare rudimentary concepts with Stick Control and a Rudiment Dictionary.
