I'm a loving-music, passionate, and creative teacher, who wants to nurture the same in my students, help them to evolve and develop the musical taste for a more fulfilled life.  In 1993, I graduated from South-Ukrainian National Pedagogical University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Pedagogy. My teaching experience started in 2010 at my own studio in Alexandria, MN. Since moving to the Minneapolis area, I have regrown my studio in this region. I work with students to achieve their goals which can be anywhere from advanced student goals, beginner students learning for fun, and adult students learning a music instrument as a hobby. My teaching style is simple! I make having fun the most important part, especially for beginners because no one wants to do anything that isn't fun! It was the same for me when I started learning tennis. My primary objective in my teaching is to use the multitude of different musical styles within my arsenal to help each of my students find what type of music they are most interested in learning, and to be the best resource I can to help them achieve his/her musical goals. My beginning students generally work out of the Standard of Excellence Book 1, and then graduate to a combination of the Rubank Intermediate/Advanced Methods combined with a mixture of various jazz methods (Jamey Aebersold, Jim Snidero, etc.) as well as a variety of pop/folk/movie theme collections depending on the interests of the individual student.
