I'm a music education major that graduated from Mansfield University in 2016. As a performing musician, I have had the opportunity to perform some of the most demanding pieces for piano solo, as well as collaborative music. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with either the John Schaum method book series or the James Bastien method book series. Both book series are fun, colorful, and engaging for the student. Once the student has progressed to have a better grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire that is appropriate. In 2004 I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in church music. Playing for and working with music in churches has been one of the highlights of the past 14 years. I pubished a CD of hymns entitled Eternal Days, where I arranged hymns for solo piano and piano and flute in 2017. Now, I continue to arrange hymns for my church and students, reflecting their current needs and levels.
