Regardless of the level of musician, basic fundamentals are extremely important to a brass musician. In fundamental studies, we will learn lip slurs, tonguing exercises, efficient breathing, excellent buzzing technique, etc. We will achieve maximum proficiency in basic fundamentals by using method books (according to skill level) , such as Remington, Schlossberg, Arban's, ect., and personally curated exercises designed for the individual. My teaching experience started while I was attending high school. I began working at local band camps over the summer during my senior year and I found the experience to be cathartic and extremely rewarding. At the beginning of my college career, I started working with several band programs as an instructor and private lesson teacher. I have been actively teaching students of all ages since 2007. She completed with a Masters of Music as well as an Artist Diploma at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Catharine Lees and Mr. Masao Kawasaki.
