A few years ago, I taught the piano for approximately three years. I stopped teaching for a while in order to pursue my Bachelor's Degree - beginning at Dixie State University, and I am now working to build my clientele again. I absolutely love to teach. I have been fortunate enough in my young career to have performed across the world in countries including the U.S., Sweden, Germany, England, Scotland, and Canada. I have even had the opportunity to tour to NYC with the Eastman Philharmonia and Renee Fleming to Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center. I have taught siblings in a class type setting. I have taught preschoolers at preschool. I have taught Little Mozarts to little ones. I use music in the homes already, sometimes I provide things from the 50s that my aunt and uncle scribbled in: leila Fletcher, Edna Mae Burnam, classical composers-mozart, debussy, chopan, clementi, beethoven, bach. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. I began teaching lessons at age 14 to young neighborhood beginners. As I progressed through the years, I expanded my range of student ability from beginner to upper intermediate, and from ages 6 to... well, older than me and I'm now 60! I have taught hundreds of students and enjoyed every one of them.
