I do have other methods that I use as needed, Piano Pronto, Supersonics, and Carol Matz Interactive Piano. I create custom lessons for each student in my studio. Its important to me that students feel they are progressions towards their goals and I prioritize that in my lesson planning. I typically give students 2 or 3 songs to practice at a time, and I always include a classical or folk art song, and a musical theater song. This success inspired me to start my own trumpet studio. After I graduated high shool, I attended Las Positas Community College to further pursue my education in the musical realm. I quickly adapted to the new environment where, once again, I was a featured soloist in the band and choir programs.
