I encourage all my students to practice whenever they can but to also live life. I love working with students on improving their sound, their range, and their fluidity on the saxophone. The student does not need to develop exceptional musicianship, but they are required enough interest in developing musical skills. Musical education is as important as developing math or language skills in developing the mental abilities in children.
