I'm a passionate soprano currently studying at The College of Musical Arts at Bowling Green State University. I graduated with my bachelors degree from Aurora University in May of 2015, and I just completed the first year of my masters degree. I encourage my students to conduct research outside of their lessons, in order for them to learn as much as possible about the history of their instrument, as well as the genre and style in which they are performing. I aid them with this research by providing introductory resources, eventually leading them towards general music databases. I also encourage students to listen to recordings of many different styles and genres in order to hear elements that cannot always be explained with words. Read More

I discovered my musical interests and performance abilities through private piano lessons, dance classes, private voice lessons, and musical theatre acting workshops. I began my teaching experience as an assistant instructor/choreographer for the StarBright! Youth Musical Theatre classes at a local community theatre. After graduation from conservatory I worked full time in the State Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine for 10 years and then another 8 years in national Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater. I have taught every semester I have been in college thanks to being a part of the Musicianship and Advancing Pedagogy--MAP--Program in the College of Musical Arts. I taught for the Middle School and High School Band Academy Programs. There, I taught sectional rehearsal for anywhere between 2-14 students for an hour. My teaching experience stems back to high school. When I was 14 I was recognized for my talent to help members of the Jr high and beginner band classes. Then when I was attending Miami University, I started my own studio of three high school trombone students; I did that for 2 years. Since then I have taught at dozens of band camps all across Ohio, I have taught in BGSUs Academy Band from 2017-2018, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestras Youth Wind Ensemble from 2014-2016. Read More
