I stated playing the Flute and Violin when I was 9 years old and have been involved in music ever since. I went on to participate in any music class I could take during high school including Concert band, Jazz band, Marching band, Drum-line, and Orchestra. I decided to use pursue a degree in music education to help future students develop their talent for music. Finally, sitting for the first time at a drum kit in 2013, I discovered my true love for percussion. I began taking up to three lessons a week with a blast beat and heavy metal emphasis for the next year and a half. My teaching experience has been mostly for being part of different kind of music schools, academies, home tutoring and private teacher at high schools for the past 5 years, thanks to this I met and taugh students of all ages. Always trying to encourage my students to love music trough their instrument, no matter what kind of genre, that way they feel more motivated to practice and improve. My methods vary with the age of the student. For beginners who are children, I usually start with Alfred's Basic Piano Library, which I try to go through most of that series. During that time, the children will occasionally play anything they wish to play that is interesting or fun to them. When they are finished, we will go into many different solo pieces for them to play to further advance their knowledge and performance of music. Read More
