My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching adults part time as an undergraduate at the San Francisco Conservatory. In 2000, I moved to San Antonio where I was on the staff at Northside Music School as a part time cello instructor. I enjoyed teaching high school students, and helped them organize their busy schedules by encouraging and assisting them to keep a written journal of lesson assignments and key learning points and accomplishments made from week to week. These books, along with supplementary materials, help the student to learn how to read music and become more comfortable with the piano.
