I have been teaching guitar almost for as long as I've been playing. I'm a self-taught musician from the age of 15; at 16 I was helping my close friends learn; and by 17 I was already taking on students. Since then, I've had over a decade of experience and dozens of students who I've helped usher in to the wonderful world of music. I have been playing drums for over 10 years and I am passionate about teaching and playing music. I have studied at Berklee College of Music and at Marian University in Indianapolis. In the Fall of 2008 I received the Fellowship Award from the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation. I have also spent time performing around the Indianapolis area, most notably at the Jazz Kitchen.
