I generally start with Hal Leonard Guitar Methods book one for beginners for basic music theory. This will teach the ins and outs of how music works and how to apply it to any music you are approaching no matter the genre. While we go through the books, we will incorporate music that the student wants to learn. We will breakdown why the music is the way it is and work up from the bottom how to play those songs. I played drum set for a touring band, most notably performing at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, I played drum set for my own band, Design The Void, I played guitar for numerous local bands, and performed with my colleagues on mallet percussion in the Mansfield, PA area.
