I'm a clarinet instructor who is excited to share his passion with his students. In 2014, I graduated from University of Southern Maine, where I studied clarinet with Tom Parchman, with a degree in Music Education. In 2017, I graduated from University fo Delaware with a dual Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance and Composition, where I studied clarinet with Chris Nichols. I help students set goals for themselves, and guide them to those goals through music I choose and music the students are interested in, which I sometimes let the students choose themselves. At the begining of a lesson I encourage to start by listening and running through the scales and pieces that we last worked on. Make sure they are all well learnt. Before moving on to more scales and next pieces in the selected order at the beginning of class. Performing and teaching music are passions of mine as they are apart of my everyday life. I have been playing the Trumpet for 14 years and I am proficient in both Jazz and Classical music. I graduated from Towson University in Fall 2012 with a bachelors degree in Jazz Performance. I am excited to expand my musical network by meeting students, peers, and role models alike.
