This typically takes the form of a beginning method book. For students beyond this phase of study, advanced technique work takes the form of scale, chord, and interval studies. Some of my students have wanted to become college music majors and others simply wanted to learn the instruments recreationally. I want to see them be passionate about getting better because they’re excited about what’s coming next.
