I graduated in 2005 from Harding University with a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Music Education. After graduation, I taught elementary music at Stafford Elementary for 6 years. I sang with the Houston Symphony Chorus during the 2007, 2008, and 2009 seasons and sang with the Moores School of Music Choral Artists for a season. In 2011, I left the public school to begin my own teaching studio.
My vision is to touch lives with the gift of music... I desire to share my passion for music with those who are music lovers and those who desire to play a musical instrument. I enjoy working with students and all audiences, but my reward comes when I can see the skills and talents of my students, progress and develop with a hope for them to become life-long musicians...
I started singing since the age of 12 and received musical training since the age of 14 throughout high school and also college. I have many years of musical training and want all my students to be outstanding because I have a tradition of musical excellence.
I began studying music at age 10 in the National School of Art in my hometown Havana, Cuba. My instrument was the guitar, which was a gift from my parents because I always had a strange attraction to the melody. I decided to study music because when I look back to when I was younger, my favorite memory was when I used to sit in the park with my parents and listen to the bands play. When I began music school I always played in special events. In the year 2002 I won a scholarship to study at the National School of Art in Havana. After several aptitude examinations I was finally elected, and that is one of the most beautiful memories I have of my time as a student. For the next 4 years, I took part in different competitions and music concerts with the Symphony Orchestra of Havana and I had the honor of playing with Leo Braower, Joaquin Clerch, and many special presentations as a student. In 2007 I began to study at the University of Arts of Cuba. While studying I was also a professor at the National School of Art. I liked the work as a professor of music because I always had the councils of my teachers and those experiences I then conveyed to my students in each of my classes. After I graduated from college I decided to be a teacher; that was where I felt more needed and knew I had to be. I want my students to be honest and true to themselves. I help my students learn the music as though it is vital in the life of any human being.
I'm a musical entertainer of all genres, who loves being on stage and getting aspiring talent up there too. I've worked for several major cruise lines for five years, and have toured the globe as a music director, soloist, and member of the show band. Had I not been given the oppourtunity to learn when I was younger, I would've missed out on the fulfulling my passion!

Travis is the greatest. He knows his music and how to teach it. He gives you time to learn, but will not allow student time to get lazy. I know he teaches all age groups. Young pre-teens to us old folks 78 years young. I have been taking lessons from him since early December 2014. He is a true professional. You can't go wrong with him.

I've been taking lessons from Michael once a week for eight weeks now, and with his help I have made dramatic improvements with my sax. Michael is a funny, nice, patient and all around great instructor. I'd recommend Michael, as an instructor, to anyone who wants to improve their skills and have fun while doing it.

Very knowledgeable on every aspect of music theory. I listen to recording artists playing various classical pieces, Dan's playing is much like a recording artist's playing. Always on time. Winning happy personality, a great role model. Puts me at ease when I am playing. Have two friends who hold music degrees, I count him a third, something special about the minds and personalities of good pianists. Thanks Dan.

Darrell is A-Maz-Ing! He demands results from his students and therefore results come quickly. The time he spends teaching is intense and packed with great instruction. He is a tough teacher but offers lots of valuable instruction that is applicable for music as well as life in general. I highly recommend Darrell if you are ready for results!

Stephanie is an excellent voice teacher! Our 10-year-old daughter enjoys her lessons with Stephanie each week. She has an amazing way of connecting with our daughter through music. Stephanie knows how to offer constructive feedback in a positive way that keeps our daughter interested and wanting to learn more. I would recommend Stephanie without hesitation.

“My son and I have been taking lessons with Lynn for 5 or 6 years now. She is very patient with younger students (& older students having "senior moments"). She is also flexible in her lessons in that if we want to work on theory, jazz, rock, blues, she will cater to our requests.” – Karl B., C.P.A., Aug 2015

She is the most amazing teacher ever. She is not only w great teacher but she's so fun to work with. She has taught me so many things in such little amount of time things I didn't even know I could do. I recommend Andrea to everyone. She is an amazing singer and cares a lot about her students. Jessie is the finest musician I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I find her overall concept of approaching an instrument to be both comprehensive and effective. Each technique she has acquired has made it possible for her to tailor her method to a variety of ages and individuals. I cannot speak more highly of Miss Jessie's abilities. Her lengthy and impressive cradecials speak for themselves. I recommend no hesitation in seeking her services!

Michael is exactly what I was looking for in a teacher. The first thing he did was to determine what I wanted to get out of lessons, and what my existing skill level is. He is now aiming me in the right direction - and he is clearly skilled, experienced and knowledgeable, in addition to being very easy to get along with. I'm very happy.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
