Instruments: Piano Voice
Lessons are geared to the individual student. I try to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere while providing a professional experience for the students. Theory is emphasized as well as technique for both the piano and voice student. Most voice students will get a basic knowledge of music reading skills while piano students tend to have a bit more in depth studies. I also use fun worksheets to help with the learning of theory which are based upon the season that we are currently in. Read More

I first began teaching as a student at CU Boulder, giving private lessons as a student job. Within a few years, however, teaching became a passion, and I have since made it my career. On a given day I currently find myself teaching anything from elementary recorders to high school tuba or trombone lessons, from Stomp-style percussion ensemble to concert band, and everything in between, and I am loving every minute of. My teaching experience began when I was a senior in college, as I have taught guitar classes at a Denver high school and also taught privately out of my private studio. Watching a student develop a passion for music is a very rewarding feeling. Thats why I feel it is important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. Everyone learns at different paces and in different ways. I set achievable goals for each lessons, and use enthusiasm and positivity as my catalysts. By finding out what inspires the student, I can adjust my lessons accordingly to their wants and needs. Read More
Instruments: Drums
I've been passionately involved in music for as long as I can remember. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a BS in Recording Arts and Music. My passion for the science behind recording and manipulating sound has driven me to experiment on the drum set, and while composing my own music. I am currently professionally performing with The Electro-Soul group Melody Lines who has amazing opportunities like opening for members of The Disco Biscuits, Pretty Lights, Lotus, String Cheese Incident, Particle, Phil Lesh Band, and Karl Denson's Tiny Universe.
