For my voice students, I typically focus on their genre of music and teaching their goal in singing. I have been teaching oof and on for the last 20 years. I have been playing professionally for the last 27 years. I played in my high school marching band and in the symphonic orchestra. In September of 2015, I was appointed Co-Conductor of the Youth Camerata, a middle school string orchestra of the Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestras. I was also invited to conduct the Southeast Missouri State University Chamber Orchestra in May of this year. Following the closure of the Phantom show in September of 2012, I relocated to my home state of North Carolina. I then transferred to Queens University of Charlotte to continue studies with Robert Teixeira, and was awarded the Queens University Performer of the Year in 2008.
