As they advance the next books are usually Breeze Easy book 2 followed by the Rubank Intermediate and Advanced Methods. Advanced students will break into instrument specific methods. Flute with use methods such as The Melodious Studies and Pares scales books, clarinets with use the Klose books and Saxophone students will use Ferling and Klose studies. I was educated in Sandfields Comprehensive School, Hull then Cardiff Universities, where I studied with renowned Welsh composer Alun Hodinott. I taught in the London School system for several years. I emigrated to the USA in 1975, living and performing in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and then moving to Phoenix in 1989.
