Overview:
I am a versatile, dedicated and multi-talented teaching professional, committed to providing a solid education and instilling music appreciation in all students. I have a talent for integrating cooperative learning, multiculturalism, and educational field trips with differentiated lesson plans providing a well-rounded learning experience for students. I am able to tailor lessons to meet students’ diverse needs and capture their interest and imagination. I am compassionate and inspiring, and maintain a motivated and well-disciplined classroom where each student feels special, cared for and successful. I am a trustworthy educator with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stupendous leadership skills to cultivate strong relationships with parents, students, and members of the school community. Key strengths include: Inquiry-Based Learning, Creative Lesson Plan Development, Musician Skill, Quality Music Programs, Individualized Education Plans, Technology Integration, Student Motivation, Personal Assessments
EXPERIENCE
I've developed and presented stimulating lessons plans that covered a wide range of topics and fostered music appreciation. Also, I instructed students in the technical aspects of music. I conducted rehearsals, put on shows and played at assemblies, evaluated students progress, and offered one-on-one after-school help to ensure each student is able to understand the materials and develop his/her skills.  I believe that I instilled a sense of music appreciation and I believe that I encouraged students to expand their interests. In doing so I've raised the levels of student’s participation levels, demonstrated cultural diversity in music, and enhanced my students’ academic and social skills.
METHODS USED
My beginning students usually start with Hal Leonards Essential Elements, Accents on Achievements, Do It Play In Band, and much more. Once my student is able to grasp basic fundamentals and a healthy proper tone and technique, I will then be able to incorporate solo repertoire for future recitals and contests. For adults, I will find out what interests my students and coordinate my lessons accordingly to keep the lesson engaging and fun. For Wind players we will incorporate The Breathing Gym By Sam Pilafian and Patrick Sheridan. For Percussionist we will incorporate all rudiments, mallets, and Drum Set.
LESSON STYLE
I am dedicated, persistent, and reliable. I am willing to learn and keep learning for the advancement of myself and my students. A well-rounded appreciation for music as well as critical listening and ear-training skills will be taught.  I also maintain a pretty fast paced lesson enabling the student to have plenty of practice material, tasks to accomplish, and goals to meet. I will record the student's progress electronically so that the student may better understand and realize their progression. I want to inspire my students through my positive influence and encouragement through each lesson of musical discovery.
