Hi, I'm Ronn. I have lived in New York City for years working Off-Broadway, and now travel back and forth consistently between NYC and OKC, and also teach in Los Angeles regularly. I usually teach what style the student wants to learn. I am most proficient in teaching classical, blues, rock, metal, and jazz. I teach out of three diferrent books that have very effective curriculums. I also teach my own methods that have helped me personally become a better guitarist. Piano Lessons: For beginning students who are very young, I start with Bastien Piano Basics or Hal Leonard Essential Elements. For adults/teens, I use the KJOS Bastien book for adults or the upper level books by Hal Leonard. I tailor my teaching to each student's current ability and level of interest. Every student is different in personality, interest and motivation, and I do my level best to approach each student individually with this in mind. I try to encourage each student to practice regularly to achieve the weekly goals I set at each lesson for the student. I believe helping the student achieve success each week is vital to his development as a musician, for I believe this success will often serve to motivate the student to put in the work necessary to advance his skills, which will ultimately become lead the student to become more self-motivated.
