After learning that career did exist, I completed my education and training to become a board certified music therapist (MT-BC). Each student in my studio is treated as an individual, with their own unique lesson plan tailored just for them. A typical lesson includes fundamentals (scales, articulation, embouchure), etudes, sight reading, solo repertoire, and duets....plus anything the student is working on in their current performing ensemble(s). I use a wide variety of method books like Learn To Play The Clarinet, Rubank Methods, Lazarus Method for Clarinet, Klose Celebrated Method for Clarinet, and a multitude of etude studies from Rose to Cavallini.
