I have been teaching private instrumental music lessons for two years now. I have gone through a four year degree program in which I've had the opportunity to gain peer teaching experience as well as teaching within various school districts for individual, small, and large ensemble settings. I have also been teaching dance at my mom's studio for the past 6 years. My first job was in the Jefferson Township schools as a middle school band and choir director. In 2002, I became a full time piano instructor at the Columbus Conservatory of Piano. When Lagonda UMC merged with two other Springfield UMC churches to become Faith UMC, I was hired as the organist and choir accompanist. In 2014 I moved back to Springfield from Columbus and worked at the Wittenberg University Center for Music Development where I taught music classes and private piano lessons. Read More

Ibegan teaching private lessons from 2004 and tried to consistently teaching students in my home studio. I was a counselor and private lesson instructor at the OSU Flute Workshop from 2011 to 2013. Playing duets with student, learn very exciting extended techniques, and various repertoire are features I emphasize for students to help them enjoy and motivate to learn.
