Once the student has progressed I will begin some solo repertoire from varying genres. I find it is always helpful to allow students to play music that they enjoy - experiencing a range of both popular and classical pieces to broaden their horizons. I have served in twelve different churches over the years as a Minister of Music, and am still serving in that capacity.
