I am a Doctor of Chiropractic who has enjoyed music for over 15 years! I started trumpet when I was in 5th grade and quickly realized music could be a fun hobby, however, needed some help in honing my skills. I started trumpet lessons at the University of Minnesota when I was 16 years old and continued to take professional lessons after attending St. Olaf College. I tailor my lessons to each individual student and go from where they are at to build off of that and expand their skill set. For more advanced students I encourage them to keep themselves challenged by choosing to learn songs that are of increasing levels of difficulty as they advance. This often includes songs that are in other languages.
