I tailor my lesson to each student, everyone has a different way of learning and interpreting the crazy world of music. For beginning students we start with the basics, how to hold a pick, how to tune your guitar and basic fretting technique. From there we go into the basic fundamentals of chords and scales. As a teenager I began teaching young kids very introductory acoustic guitar methods. Later on in college, my music curriculum mandated teaching lessons on the primary instrument while receiving feedback from faculty and attending teaching workshops. I have participated in master classes with Eliot Fisk and Roland Dyens, and have attended master classes with world-famous flamenco, jazz, fusion, and classical guitar players.
