I began teaching students in college, and have consistently taught students of all ages and experience levels. I love being able to help new students along their path to becoming the musician they want to be. I focus my lessons on the students musical interests and apply music theory and proper technique instruction to help them reach their goals. By High School, I had already formed three bands, and composed & recorded a solo album on my own. In 2013, I started my music degree at the University of Colorado Denver, and graduated in 2018. I’ve learned many different instruments since I got involved in music, but guitar is my main instrument. However, what I find most gratifying about music is the combination of multiple instruments together, forming an arrangement. I started teaching right after I graduated from Berklee. I have worked in studios , but have been self employed for the most part. It’s very rewarding and creative that way. I have played 3,000 performances in my career, which gives me a unique perspective on teaching. I have run rock camps as well. I prepped the singers, drums, bass, keyboards, and guitar players.
