As each student comes with his or her individual musical wants and interests, student lessons are designed to meet these needs of a particular student. After completing my Master's Degree, I joined the faculty at Central Piedmont Community College in 2011, where I have taught several classes including Applied Guitar, Instrumental Repertoire, History of Rock and Roll, Music Appreciation, and Fundamentals of Theory. Immediately out of college in 2008 I worked as a music teacher teaching guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and voice for 3 years. In 2011, I moved to Peru where I was the #1 on call jazz trombonist in Lima, and was a trombone professor at the National Conservatory of music where I taught trombone technique and jazz improvisation.
