I also gave guitar lessons to adults of different ages, ranging from 20s to 80s. This includes a position as a Recreation Instructor for the City of Los Angeles. I started teaching in 2018, soon after moving to LA a few weeks after I graduated from Berklee College Of Music. I started out teaching at music schools, and would often have up to 30 students in a week. I would have weekly lessons with my students, prepare them for their annual recitals, and communicate with parents after their child's progress. I decided to offer piano and general music lessons while I was attending college. It turned out to be very fun and rewarding to see my students begin to understand and apply the concepts I taught them. Creating my own teaching style and curriculum was difficult, but learning from my peers was a great experience and very helpful.
