I have experience teaching music all over the world. I have travelled to Canada, Russia, and Swaziland to work with children. I have taught guitar, voice, and general music lessons to those children. Additionally, I have been teaching guitar lessons here in the States for over two years. I love teaching music and think that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to quality music education. During lessons, we review songs, techniques, theory, and other concepts that they are studying and need to improve on. There are many students who just want to play a few songs. My approach is to give the student a skill set that would allow them to eventually learn a song without having to go to a teacher. I'm not the sort of teacher who just shows a student where to place their fingers to play a song without understanding what they're doing.
