I started teaching guitar shortly after beginning the instrument in 2005. Since then I have taught guitar, and string bass consistently as well as being a classroom music teacher for the past two years. I put a lot of focus on younger students developing good habits early and help them see the benefits of regular practice as their passion for music grows. I believe incorporation into daily life is vital to retention and I find ways to get students involved outside of lessons as much as possible. Read More

The most important part in my teaching style is my ability to cater the lessons to each individual student. Not every student is on the same level or interested in the same things. Once I know where it is each student wants to take their music then I can teach them the skills they need to become really incredible musicians. Read More

We first must decide what area the student is most apt to explore and make a lesson plan accordingly. Read More

Nothing is more pleasant than being able to inspire my students to become passionate in what they do, and do what they love. The first thing i do when i begin the process of teaching a student is to ask him/her what he desires to achieve with what he wants to learn, from there i establish the intensity and demand in the apprenticeship. For those who want to achieve a professional level in the instrument must compromise his effort and his time in the study of his instrument. Read More

I took guitar with Michael Engberg there for two years and also took fundamentals of music, music business, music technology, and a song writing class. I transferred over to Metropolitan State University of Denver and began my Bachelors degree sequence under the wing of Alex Komodore. I graduated from Metro in May 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar Performance, and the experience thus far has been amazing. I love to teach and I love to learn about music as well as people who desire to be musicians. Read More
