For beginners, I will start with teaching basic knowledge about the "Guitar", then teaching some basic playing mechanic for hands to practice and warm up. After that, I will start teaching some basic theory along with playing examples which makes sure that the students will understand what they are playing and know how music works and how to use it. My teaching style is very laid back and encouraging. I love seeing a student pick up a new instrument but I usually sense a lot of nerves and bad self talk. I believe when learning anything, one should be comfortable to fail and ask questions. I try to make sure this is understood right away.
