My approach is different for each student. A curriculum will be designed around the student's needs, skill level, music reading ability, musical interests, and age level. I am capable of teaching a student as much as they are willing to learn. We will not only learn a piece of music, but will dive into what makes the piece interesting to the student and the theory of music. I like starting with the song approach. Learning a song you love is a fun process that will keep you motivated to keep learning more. I have a way of simplifying songs so anyone can start playing guitar within a few lessons. I also have a very patient teaching method that my students appreciate.
