I taught my first students around 1993 back in my homeland, Greece. Since then, I taught several instruments such as piano, guitar, mandolin, ukelele, Greek bouzouki, ud and Greek Lute. In my teaching, I always combine elements, from any musical style I have taught to strengthen my teaching skills and help students achieve their best. I believe in a good balance between studying theory and practicing technique and music. Theory reveals the secrets of music. Read More

I typically start teaching students with very basic chords and very simple songs. I usually feel satisfied if the student is able to pick up on a simple song by the end of the first lesson and learning songs is the best way to learn guitar in my opinion. I usually will work with the student on what music they like and what they want to learn then we can sit and learn it together. Read More

My teaching experience began right after high school where I joined my musician friends teaching at K-Piano Music Academy. I taught children beginner piano schools K-5 in an afterschool program and have been teaching aspiring musicians mostly online since 2020. Now I want to expand my experience to the people in our community, encouraging musicians of all skill levels to bring them to another level they might not have expected. I focus on "learning how to learn" techniques that can take you far. Read More

I started teaching guitar in High School in 2009, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 8 years. I took private lessons for 7 years from four different guitar instructors, so I know what works and what doesn't. My number one focus as a teacher is keeping my students engaged, and doing my best to ignite their passion for the instrument of guitar. I start with teaching proper technique, form, and posture, as well as the basic chord shapes and strumming patterns, and from there I teach songs that both put these new techniques into practice and adhere to the student's musical interests. My teaching experience started when a good friend introduced me to a family that has two daughters that were interested in learning music. The 11 year old wanted to learn how to play the drum set and the 14 year old was interested in playing the guitar. I found the joy of teaching music to children on these instruments was a very challenging but rewarding experience that lasted for 3 years. I also have also instructed a number of adults to this date how to play the guitar and the drums. Read More

I have a love for teaching as well as for learning, and am always sudying something new. I have experience performing in a range of styles, from classical to jazz to rock and pop to bluegrass. After graduating from Reinhardt University, I took contracts on cruise ships, playing electric bass in show bands and orchestras on Carnival and Princess cruise lines; this gave me the chance to see much of the world, as well as the opportunity to perform challenging music nightly.
